SP016 Auger - Flow E.P

And so we come to the last installment on SP Recordings for 2009. A Deep House number which comes from Dave Woolrich aka "Auger".

Auger's early musical influences come from the likes of Slipmatt, DJ Rap and MC Connie some of the big players for many established artists on the uk dance scene.

Since the late nineties, Auger has been working for professional studios crafting his production skills and In this time has supplied remixes for the likes of Faithless, Tim Deluxe, Blanco and Parker and Miagi.

Unashamedly, Dave Woolrich aka Auger tells us that he is named after a drill bit, has produced music for various TV ads and even a Porn movie. (Although, he was never convinced that people were listening to the music. There were also complaints from the actors about not being able to keep up with the BPM!)

This is Auger's debout E.P on SP Recordings containing 3 cuts of quality deepness.

Dusty Hooters is a superb atmospheric affair with drive and deep punchy beats while Back to the Congo brings us a percussive workout laced with sensual chords. The third track, Aquiesse (Smooth Mix) is a deep moody number with a classic B line and heavy, spooky chords that contrast with smooth melodic sound scapes.

There are certainly no "Filler" tracks on this release.
